We are an international non-governmental organization, working to bring up the next generation of startups and talents with green and cross-border technologies rooted in their DNA.
Our mission is to connect, educate, and support young, ambitious minds working on technologies toward a green, connected future.
Our plan is to focus our efforts to Vietnam for its unique position, but keep our door open for any opportunities aligning with our mission.
Vietnam has the under-64-years-old population of more than 92 millions in 2022 and growing steadily. The proportion of adults using smartphones in Vietnam is more than 70 percent. The adoption of high tech such as internet banking, online learning was considered low till 2018, but was accelerated with light speed in the recent years. All of these put Vietnam in a strategic place for tremendous growth opportunities. Its young hard-working generation has every right to dream of a strong, advanced and green economy. A key to that future is people. The sudden adoption of high technologies carry with it large systematic risks. Vietnam software industry, security infrastructure, artificial intelligence know-how, etc. are very much unready for the scale and could potentially collapse at any moment. User privacy is not considered appropriately in everyone daily apps. Highly skilled human resource is at great shortage. Students as well as young workers have limited exposure to the highly developed tech communities such as Silicon Valley in US.
Vietnam is also a country with nearly 13 million hectares of forests, in which roughly 85 thousand hectares is classified as primary forest, the most biodiverse form of forest. Its coastline is nearly 3,500 km home to more than 11,000 marine species. It is listed among countries with highest biodiversity. Despite the status, biodiversity is declining. In the last 15 years, its coral reef area has been reduced by 15-20%. Global Forest Watch estimated in 2021, Vietnam lost nearly 137kha of natural forests, equivalent to about 66.5 Mt of CO2 emissions.
We need to act.
A future in which millions of children of a country, and potentially a larger part of the world are working for a green, advanced planet, or are working for old polluted industries depends on our choices today.
How we work - we organize our team into 3 groups to connect, educate, and support young, ambitious minds working on technologies toward a green, connected future, including: Doers, Mentors, and Keeper.
Doers scout for individuals as well as early startups that we can help them and also help us advance our mission.
Mentors connect young, ambitious individuals and startups with experienced experts in Silicon Valley. We believe that a meaningful working relationship is vital for any success. Further, market, business models, networking are all essential in our approach.
Keepers work to keep the light on in the moment we are all tired. We share lessons, do presentations, keep connections with supporters so that we will see our mission till the end, a Vietnam with green, connected, and advanced economy.
